One of the best things we do is connect great people in our county. Each event we host is a chance to meet others with talent and drive. These are the people who are creating solutions for todays problems and share a vision for a community connected through purpose.

Startup Couve Coffee: Downtown
Start your month with the aroma of fresh beans and fresher ideas. Startup Couve Coffee is the Couve’s best high‑energy morning meetup for founders, creatives, technologists, and curious neighbors to gather for unfiltered conversation. No slides, no gatekeepers, just a welcoming circle fueled by Kafiex’s finest roasts.
Drop in to share a win, float a half‑baked concept, or ask for help on a stubborn challenge. Someone in the room has walked your path, and someone else is looking for exactly what you bring. Around the café tables you’ll find open laptops, scribbled napkin sketches, and spontaneous introductions that turn into partnerships.
Whether you’re scoping your first MVP, scaling to new markets, or simply exploring the startup scene, Startup Couve Coffee offers a supportive tribe and practical next steps. Pull up a chair; your next breakthrough might be one sip away.
• What to bring
Nada. Just a friendly demeanor and willingness to meet new great founders and talk about your project.
• Important to know
This is REALLY not the place you want to come if you are looking for sales leads. This event is a place to meet and share your startup journey and talk about your project. While we appreciate all the members of our community, network marketing and sales reps will find many short unuseful conversations in this crowd. Thanks for understanding.

Startup Couve Coffee: Eastside Nov
East Vancouver just got its own early‑morning idea accelerator. Startup Couve Coffee @ The VIC brings our beloved Startup Coffee vibe to the Innovation Center, handing founders, engineers, product folks, and remote workers a convenient place to connect before the workday kicks in. Think of it as your monthly jump‑start: grab a cup, share your current roadblock, and crowd-sourced wisdom from people who speak your language.
We start with a casual mingle at 9:00 AM, followed by a quick round of “Asks and Offers.” Need a beta tester? Looking for a co‑founder? Have surplus GPUs? Say it aloud and watch hands go up. By 10:30 AM you’ll roll out with concrete leads and the motivation to crush the rest of the week.
Startup Couve Coffee: Eastside is especially easy for Camas and Eastside residents and I‑205 commuters, but everyone is welcome. Parking is free, the conversation is priceless, and the caffeine is potent—bring your curiosity, your hustle, and your favorite reusable mug.

Startup Conversations in the Couve - Nov
Startup Conversations is our region’s monthly adrenaline shot of real‑talk entrepreneurship. Now staged inside the Vancouver Innovation Center—the campus where tomorrow’s companies are literally being built—this gathering delivers stories that skip the buzzwords and dive straight into the gritty reality of scaling. Expect to hear the real behind-the-scenes experiences of some of the region's best entrepreneurs. The stories behind their pivots, fundraising war stories, and candid confessions about what finally clicked.
Each session spotlights a founder, funder, or operator who has wrestled big problems into big opportunities. They unpack their decision‑making frameworks, reveal the metrics that mattered, and share the near‑misses that almost derailed them—so you can sidestep the same traps. After a lightning Q&A, we flip the room into open networking engineered for meaningful collisions.
Bring your prototype, your boldest question, or your next investor pitch. You’ll meet teammates you didn’t know you needed and mentors who’ve already fought your fight. The VIC’s collaborative labs, pop‑up demos, and easy parking turn a midweek evening into rocket fuel for momentum.
Startup Conversations is for builders at every stage from ideation to IPO. Show up curious, leave on fire, and watch your next milestone sprint closer. Your community is waiting.
Please note, that we encourage genuine networking, not hunting for sales or leads. If you are genuinely starting or working with a startup, this is the right crowd for you. Thanks for helping us keep it real.

About the Startup Conversations Event
Each month we host a local founder who will give a short presentation about their company. They will focus on how it all got started, where they are today, and their plans for the future including the challenges they face to make their goals happen.
Following the presentation our host, Dave Barcos will dig into the founder's background, the company's story, and other observations. After the interview, we will have an audience Q&A session to help attendees ask direct questions of the presenter.
It has proven to be a great format to catalyze the local founders and the startups in the region. You won't want to miss it.

Startup Open Coffee in the Couve
Details
Welcome All Founders and Tech Pros
• What we'll do
You will drink coffee (and tea for those who are recovering caffeine addicts) and talk with other great founders and companies in our local area.

Startup Cocktails in the Couve
Ok, It's a Happy Hour.
But! in truth after a hard week of the ups and downs in the trenches of your startup (or job you have to keep to get your startup going), you need to hang around with others who understand.
This is an open event... within reason. We think everyone exploring or interested in building a startup is the exact type of person who needs to be there. The person who wants to sell what they do to someone building a startup can find a better meetup to "Network" at. While this is a business event, its a chance to let our guards down and relax.
So, come out and get your drink on.
Vantechy Happy Hour
VanTechy is an event for engineers, programmers, and all-around techie types. We host these events to bring people together who usually spend their day staring at pixels and not people.
We get it, and we also know how much we learn and enjoy swapping stories with others who also stare at pixels for a living.
We are like-minded technology professionals, enthusiasts, and investors in and around Vancouver, WA. We work in everything from Data to UX to AI and everything in between.
We hope you will join us for a casual drink and maybe some food with others here in the area.
